Yesterday I just had one of the most life teaching lessons that I ever had in my entire life. It started as I jogged in the rain. I set myself not to stop for 30 mins. I would go to the church then I’d go around the village from the outside via sucat road.
Anyway, my realizations started after I prayed in the church. I prayed in the church for god to give me a lesson while I jog in the rain today, I prayed for my first girlfriend, I prayed for my mom who was in the beach having fun while I soak in the rain. And I prayed to god that I wouldn’t get hit by the cars nor get sick on what im about to do.
After that I went out of the church and I tied my shoelace tightly so that I wouldn’t stop for it.
By the way I was wearing a jacket with no hood, jogging pants, cross training shoes, and a bonnet. So I looked like rocky or some boxer trying to get some dramatic scene in to this world. Haha!(“,)
I started to walk to the corner, raindrops fallin on my head. Then I ran, constant pace. No speeding up, no slowing down, just normal.
As I was running in the sidewalk I was using my toes to hop through the puddles of water. I thought that if I stepped with my whole foot I would make a splash thus soaking my shoes right?
>My realization there is that, we are always faced with problems, and we do have to go through it, but then we must go through it fast so that it wouldn’t affect us that much.
As I approached sucat road, there were many cars and many pedestrians who were just walking by the way. Me, the one who wouldn’t slow down overtook them one by one but in the manner that I wouldn’t disturb them, I was sidestepping, ducking down low. There was one time that I was almost hit by a car just that I wouldn’t hit that person who was walking slow. Another thing is that if I do bump that person or any other person I would have to slow down to say sorry and all that. So its gonna make me stop.
>My realization there is that to succeed in life we do got to overtake people, but if we do we must do it so that it wouldn’t hurt them or affect them that much. Its my own agenda to get that goal, then ill get to it in expense of my own hardwork, my own sacrifice. Another realization is that those peoples are conflicts, and for me not to stop anymore, I avoided those conflicts.
The rain was becoming less now, but then that wasn’t a sign that I was to stop.
Anyway in jogging we breathe oxygen right? We breath heavily so that we take in more oxygen to give us more energy. Well I was breathing alright, but then I passed through a smoke cloud made by the bystanding barbecue stores. So my body was surprised because of the sudden drop of my oxygen taking. But then I just kept my pace and eventually I got out of that smoke cloud.
>realization there is that we may be faced with a problem so big that we couldn’t do anything about it. But then all we have to do is just keep moving. If we stop and try to fix it we just get hurt more.
I was still jogging in sucat road, there were still cars and people all around me. But then I saw a ramp. A ramp that has an ascending part, a middle part, and a descending part. I jogged that ramp upward, that took some energy. Then I jogged the middle part, that made me relax. Then I descended it that took less energy.
>realization, there are times that we can just relax after a grueling thing. But then we do still have to keep moving until we get to our goal. After that relax period we must get back to what we really do.
I turned on the corner of the north village gate, I successfully jogged around the village from the outside. I was so tempted by the food stands and other things to stop and walk. But I just kept pushing myself because I wasn’t near my house yet, which is the goal.
>realization there is that even if we are near our goal, we shouldn’t take it easy because we don’t know what could happen.
Then I was now jogging on the village main road now. I was facing the cars. Not like earlier in sucat road.
>realization here is that I took the cars as dangers in our life. The thing is, we have to face these dangers to avoid them more easily right? We must confront these dangers but it doesn’t mean we have to deal with them, we just have to see them so that we could avoid them more easily.
Then I crossed the road.
>realization, from facing dangers I crossed to the other side of the road where the cars are behind me. I needed to cross because it would be more easier for me to get to my goal which is home, but then by crossing, I took the chance to not know what dangers are facing me, I took the chance to venture out of my comfort zone to get to what my goal is. Its like a decision that you don’t think about but you just need to get in. its either do that decision or don’t do it, no more thinking, just do it or not.
It was so humid that I was sweating like a river. Haha!(“,) I was thinking of taking off my bonnet, something that has protected me yet is slowing me down. I took it off eventually.
>realization, we must sacrifice things that do protect us but sometimes would slow us down to get to what our goal is.
I was on the final stretch to my house, it was uphill and at the half of that hill I slowed down.
>realization, in life, we may get to those hard to reach places and we have to use that uphill of ours but then it’s the last stretch right? And it was the last stretch and I figured to walk it, cherish that moment of victory. Victory in terms that I was more sexy and I learned a lot.
Then I came to my house, drank water, then proceeded to do some light weight lifting. And work on my abs. Haha!(“,)
The end.(“,) hope yah liked it. Comment please.(“,)
